Casting Picture Tips : Put Your Best Face Forward
As we grow and add hundreds of new members per day many of you will hear the same tips from me regarding your default realitywanted photo. When you hit APPLY NOW to any of the casting calls your default pic is sent to the casting director via email along with some contact information and a link back to your other photos.
One of the number one complaints I hear from casting directors centers around applicant photos. If you have an upgraded account on realitywanted you can add 5 - 10 photos. If you have a free account you can add only one. Whether you have a free or upgraded account make sure you choose the best default photo for your profile.
I have been on myspace and facebook for years and run across pics in which people are wearing sun glasses, have their hats pulled down so far you cannot see their eyes or face, or have their head tipped back drinking a beer. These are cool pics but not the best choice to use on RealityWanted or any casting site. You do not need a professional head shot on realitywanted, in fact its actually discouraged when it come to reality TV applications. Lastly, make sure it is a recent photo.
We review every photo uploaded online but cannot get back to each person to suggest they change their photo. A full clear front face pic is your best bet! As we keep growing I will continue to repost/preach the photo deal.
