Regarding voting: We do not want to mislead people into thinking you will land a spot on the show if you have the highest amount of votes, I don’t think any site can guarantee this. Our members who receive the highest amount of votes show up first when a casting director/member views who has applied. So if 500 people apply you are much better off if you appear in the top 10 vs the bottom 10. For example, if I am looking over 500 applicants who have applied to a casting call and can find “the one” by looking at the top 10 or 20 I may not need to look over all 500 so it can give you an advantage and more exposure.
Our system is more like a “I would like to see this person” on your show but everyone who applies is sent to the casting director.
Also, its still in BETA mode meaning its being tested so you may run into voting issues. But I cant stress how important it is to simply apply and send in the correct info, pics and so on.
More information on voting soon to come and we will have fun links and buttons you can send to friends and paste online for more exposure.
UPDATE 11/7/08: You will now see the some of the MOST VOTED FOR on the homepage, your control panel, and in the casting director control panel. We are now automatically sending the casting director that posted the notice the top 5 vote receivers of the day….so all in all your GETTING MORE FACE TIME … BUT…. remember remember remember…the casting company, production company, and network will choose the BEST fit no matter how many votes you receive. THAT’S THEIR JOB 
So make sure you have updated contact info and an updated pic online.

You can now email your url to friends and family to cast a vote for you every 24 hours. We will work out deals with each casting director to see what he/she will give to the top ranked winner(s). FREE members may want to upgrade since your realitywanted url is not custom……ex: a paid members url looks like this www.realitywanted.com/johndoe while a free members url will consists on numbers and much harder to remember and promote. Take a look at other casting sites that charge as much as 20.00 or more a month, our prices start as low as 3.99.
Also, paid members who receive the most votes will receive prizes such as one on one phone calls or in person auditions while free members may get to ask the casting dir a question via email and so on. New VOTE FOR ME buttons will be online soon so you can copy/paste them online.

Whats up gang..I am still in St. Louis butt our web team just added new voting features to your realitywanted profiles. You, friends, family, enemies, or randoms can now visits your profile and cast one vote every 24 hours for each show you have applied for. Or you can go to the actual casting call page, see who has voted and vote for everyone or anyone . When a casting director logins to see who has applied the highest ranked will show up first. We will work deals with each casting dir for each show to try and offer the top 5 guaranteed phone calls, semi final interviews, and other prizes.
Next week cool buttons will be available so you can harass your myspace, bebo, and facebook friends to come vote for you. They don’t even need to login but can vote only once every 24 hours.
You can also now pre pay for an entire year and get 2 months free or pay for 6 months and get one month free…..more fun stuff is on the way.

I just rolled my lazy but up out of bed, getting some coffee, and reading up on bravos top chef. Since I have been traveling I missed the last two episodes but have a call set with Dale in 45 min. Dale was eliminated last week and I really liked watching him on the show. After that I am off to the gym for a bit and our web dev guys told me new additions to the site will be added later tonight so get ready for more fun !!
